As part of the Black Country’s National lottery bid, Planet Art were commissioned to create a
structure to act as launch event.

The Black Country bid was to create a ‘green link concept’ to build a bridge between all of the regions.

Barr Beacon is the highest point within the Black Country and was used over centuries to communicate over long distances.
